France's Amelie Mauresmo showed her middle finger to the umpire after her Fed Cup match against Flavia Pennetta of Italy. Mauresmo lost 2-6, 7-6, 6-4 after having squandered a match point.
Long story short: Penetta hit a backhand winner. Umpire overrules, saying it was out. This gives Mauresmo a match point. Pennetta loses it, shouts at the umpire and gives him the middle finger. She gets a verbal warning. Amelie didn't see a thing as she had her back turned. Penetta regains her composure and goes on to win the match.
Afterwards: Teammate Alize Cornet tells Amelie what happened at her match point. This time it's Mauresmo's turn to "lose it" and she gets into an argument with the umpire (saying Pennetta should have been expelled from the match) before giving him a middle finger - as pictured above.
